You too can look amazing in this trend ...........

Dust off your crop tops, jelly shoes, bandanas, plaid shirts, floral dresses and platform trainers because the 90's have made a COMEBACK!
See how to wear this trend below without looking like you've just stepped out of the 90's!

Team your crop top with a high waisted skirt. The trick is not to show too much flesh, just a glimpse.

Or team your crop under a kimono with some high waisted disco pants. Add some trends from the noughties to update it such as spiked jewellery or cut out boots.

Wear your bandana as shown below. You can see in this look below, the 90's vintage dress and bandana is updated with chunky accessories and ankle boots.

Ri Ri and Demi look ridiculously cool in theirs.

The grunge floral dresses from the 90's have also wiggled their way back in this summer and will be even bigger for Autumn.

Whilst it's perfectly acceptable to wear this dress with some heels. You can completely change the style of the 90's floral dress by wearing it similar to below. Or you could leave it unbuttoned over a crop top and a pair of high rise denim shorts. Voila, you're updated and unique....
Here's celeb model Daisy Lowe rocking a grunge floral with some black boots...

As for the plaid shirts, Alexa shows us how it's done here!....

I'm off to buy my jelly sandals....

NEW OUTFIT POST.....

So I always mix vintage with highstreet and most vintage items on my online shop are easily styled with highstreet pieces . The other day was a teeny bit chilly so I threw on my wooly gilet over this vintage shirt. Jeans are the highwaisted skinnies from Penneys retailing at €13

My floral shoes are from River Island. They retailed at €40 and they are fab teamed with little dresses and jeans alike. Its nice to make a statement with your shoes sometimes....

Necklace is from Accessorize and I think it has a real 70's feel . The shirt is a lovely custard cream colour from the 70's. I actually bought it in a charity shop for €4. TOP TIP: Sometimes the sleeves on vintage shirts can be a bit tooooooo baggy, so just to roll them up as shown below and above....

and rolled....

Fringed bag is from Penneys and it cost €8. They have them in tan colour too and they are such a bargain considering the detail.

Purple gilet is really light weight and  I bought at a fair in the RDS but I saw the exact same ones in A-Wear recently and cost just €15! Bargain or wha!
TOP TIP: wear your gilet over a floral dress to give it a boho feel.

Midi is the new Mini, find out why all the celebs think so?..........

I've always loved the midi and I love the way it's taking centre stage at the moment. It's such an easy effortless style to wear. I love wearing mine with ankle boots and a crop top. But see the many other ways below.........

It's also equally on trend to wear with some heels and cute ankle socks. Florence Welch is a big fan of the midi and she pulls it off so well.

Rihanna  is transformed into a demure super model by wearing this midi and crop top combo. A far cry from her usual styles!

I love the plisse pleat midi as seen below and is especially flattering when wore high waisted with a silk grandad style blouse or shirt. Pull in the waist even more by adding a belt but make sure it's a thin one. Another reason I think the midi works so well is because it  really shows off the slimmest parts of your legs.

Sienna looks so relaxed in her midi floral dress at Glastonbury this year. Add a pear of grunge studded boots to give that extra edge.  I love it

Wedding dresses under €200 SAY WHAAAA????!!!!!

For a long while now I've wondered why so many people feel the need to spend a FORTUNE on their wedding day. I realise it's down to your individual preference but for me, I couldn't do it. I hear the average price spent on a dress in €2000 (I believe it's much higher than this) but If I ever do say I do, I'd prefer to wear a fab dress under €200 and spend the rest on a trip to travel lands afar. That being said, I just want to prove that you can indeed get amazing dresses for under €200 . I've listed lots below including links! Some of them  are just too pretty and some are as low as €35 folks!

Get it Right folks, you'll be amazed when you do!!

Dressing Those Eyes To Perfection!
People don't realize the importance of getting the right pair of shades to suit your face. Sure I didn't until I started browsing  for sunglasses on Asos Marketplace and I came across a lady modeling 100's of pairs of sun glasses. I looked at how each pair enhanced or detracted from her features and to say I was amazed is an understatement! In some photos her face shape looked so rounded and unflattering and in others it it was slim and perfectly shaped by the glasses. Here are some examples.

WRONG X

RIGHT !

Notice how the second pair frame her face perfectly. This is because she naturally has a heart shaped face so the round work against it and the the glasses which emulate the shape of a heart enhance her cheekbones. AMAZING!

                            WRONG X

RIGHT!

This lady has a more square shaped face, you can see here that actually wearing a more square shaped pair of glasses actually works against her. The more rounded  edge ones completely flatter her face giving her a slimmer and shapely face!!

What I would advise is to go shopping for glasses with a friend. Get them to take a photo of every pair  you try on and then go home and make a more educated decision. I don't know about you, but I can never tell by looking in the mirror. The tinted glasses distract me :-)
Anyway , I'm on the hunt for more examples so I can give pointers for every face shape. See you back here soon!
